FOOD AFFECTS IMMUNITY POWER FOR DAILY LIFE

The Worst Foods for Your Immune System

Health advice:

As India enters the third corona wave, it is critical that we work on our immune systems. A healthy immune system keeps the body from becoming ill and aids in the battle against disease-causing infections. Certain meals can inhibit your immune system when you're trying to strengthen it.

Here are certain foods to avoid at all costs if you want to maintain your immune system strong.

Coca-Cola (Sodas):

In the summer, a cold soda may be your preferred beverage. A drink that satisfies your thirst, on the other hand, is more likely to totally deplete your immune system. Sugar is abundant in many sodas and fizzy drinks. They're essentially empty.

Soda use not only raises the risk of obesity, but it also has a negative impact on immunological function.

Foods cooked in oil:

If you enjoy fried foods, now is the time to stay away from them. Deep-fried dishes contain grease and fat. It is well recognised that it weakens the immune system.

Alcohol:

Alcohol is not harmful to the body when consumed in moderation. However, if you enjoy alcohol and consume it on a daily or weekly basis, your immune system will be weakened. It also makes it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Furthermore, it causes obesity, harms liver function, and even has a negative impact on the heart.

Bakery items:

Refined dough is frequently used in bakery items. Gluten, fat, and calories are all high in this dish. White flour, sugar, and butter are used to make cakes, cookies, pastries, and other baked goods.

Choose wheat flour or other healthy flour-based goods if you enjoy bakery products.

Products containing sugar:

If you eat a lot of sweets, you can have an issue with your immune system. Sugar, whether white or refined, is referred to as "poor food" for the immune system.

Candies, chocolates, cakes, donuts, biscuits, and other sweets include white sugar. Foods like tomato ketchup, fruit drinks, cereals, bread, and pasta all contain sugar.

To begin, try eliminating white sugar from your diet in favour of healthier options like jaggery, honey, coconut sugar, and maple syrup. When compared to white sugar, all of these items contain almost the same number of calories. Furthermore, these are far healthier than they are.
